All three were charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
TILLSONBURG - Three women have been charged after a vehicle was stopped in Tillsonburg.
Yesterday around 9 p.m., The OPP's Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit stopped and investigated a motor vehicle at a Broadway Street address.
Officers located and seized a quantity of suspected red, blue, and green coloured fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and cash. As a result, three people, including one Tillsonburg resident, were arrested and taken into custody without incident.
The women were 42, 44 and 50 years old respectively, and all three were charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The 42-year-old from Norfolk County faces additional charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
Despite the investigation taking place in Oxford County, the women are scheduled to speak to the charges in court in Simcoe at a later date.
