A local farmer is fuming after 15-thousand dollars worth of tobacco has gone missing from his farm. Oxford OPP say nine 750-pound bails of tobacco were removed from a processing barn off a property on Maple Dell Road in Norwich Township. The theft was discovered earlier this week, and happened sometime overnight between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Police are looking for tips, and ask the public to keep an eye out for suspicious activity around local farms late at night during this harvest season. Tips can be called to Oxford OPP at 519-688-6540.
