A 44 year old from Oxford County has died after trees were being cleared in the area of Merritt Street in Ingersoll on Wednesday.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP are investigating a sudden death on Merritt Street in the Town of Ingersoll.
OPP, Fire and EMS were called to the home on Wednesday just after 5 pm. An investigation determined that trees were being cleared on the property and one person was hit by a falling tree.
44 year old Brent Van Kooten of Oxford County was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post mortem is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
