LONDON - Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau says it was a anti-vaxxer mob, that pelted him with stones and pebbles at a campaign stop in London on Monday.
Trudeau was greeted by the hostile crowd, who chanted freedom and Trudeau must go. Many of them were wearing PPC t-shirts. Speaking in Montreal today, Trudeau says he won't let one angry mob control his campaign.
He also stated that several people are being targeted across the country by bullies for being vaccinated and supporting passports. Trudeau says acts of violence have no place in Canadian politics and that he is very concerned about the harassment against health-care workers.
Several protests have been happening in Ontario, since Premier Ford announced vaccine passports. Protests have happened outside hospitals and police stations in Ontario.
