WOODSTOCK/HICKSON - Families new to the Friendly City will not be able to send their kids to Hickson Central Public School.
The Thames Valley District School Board has decided to cap enrollment for new families living in the Woodstock attendance area. Starting this fall, they will be bused to Zorra Highland Park Public School and this plan will remain in place until the new elementary school in north Woodstock opens. The $17.5-million project is currently in the design stage.
TVDSB trustees approved the enrollment cap on January 31st and it will not affect the siblings of students currently attending Hickson Central Public School.
