The TVDSB is reporting three new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County. Two of them affect Laurie Hawkins PS and the third case is a member of the Thamesford PS community.
TVDSB - The Thames Valley District School Board is reporting 18 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19.
Only three of those cases are in Oxford County; one is at Thamesford Public School and the other two affect Laurie Hawkins Public School. You can find a complete breakdown of all of the newest COVID cases within the TVDSB below.

- Laurie Hawkins Public School (Ingersoll) - 2 cases
- Dunwich-Dutton Public School (Dutton)
- Central Elgin Collegiate Institute (St. Thomas) - 3 cases
- J.S. Buchanan French Immersion Public School (Strathroy)
- A. B. Lucas Secondary School (London) - 3 cases
- Byron Somerset Public School (London)
- Sir Arthur Currie Public School (London) - 3 cases
- Clarke Road Secondary School (London)
- H.B. Beal Secondary School (London)
- London Central Secondary School
Two new outbreaks have also been declared; one is at Dunwich-Dutton Public School and the other affects H.B. Beal Secondary School in London. Public Health officials declare an outbreak whenever they find a connection between at least two cases.
The school board has already reached out to all of the affected parents, guardians and staff members. This means if you have not heard anything from Thames Valley, your child is not considered to be at risk.
