WOODSTOCK - Two men have been charged in a recent drug bust in the Friendly City
They were both arrested by Woodstock Police close to Blossom Park Road on Tuesday.
That's when the officers seized over 15 grams of a substance that's believed to be fentanyl or carfentanil. They found about $5,600 worth of cocaine in addition to prescription pills, drug production materials and Canadian cash.
They charged the 28-year-old from Chatham and the 25-year-old from Etobicoke with opioid possession for the purpose of trafficking, cocaine possession for the purpose of trafficking, producing an opioid, and possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000. They were also charged with opioid possession, but the 25-year-old faces two counts while the 28-year-old faces one.
