Police say the driver slammed into two cruisers and another vehicle, before trying to flee on foot with his passenger during the arrest yesterday morning.
WOODSTOCK - Two people have been arrested after a hit and run on Tuesday afternoon in Woodstock.
On Tuesday night, two cars collided head on, on Riddell Street. One of the vehicles, with two people inside fled from the scene.
Yesterday morning Woodstock Police found the suspect vehicle and attempted a routine traffic stop on Wellington Street around 9:30. The driver took off, hitting two police vehicles and another car before fleeing on foot.
Officers tracked down the suspects after a short foot chase and found them to be in possession of crystal meth and other drug paraphernalia.
A 25 year old man from Ingersoll and a 25 year old woman from St. Marys were arrested on several charges.
