The two people broke into a home in Delhi on April 17th, stealing a Weatherby 20 gauge pump action shot gun, a .22 calibre bolt action rifle and other items.
DELHI - Norfolk County OPP investigated a break and enter at a home in Delhi after responding to a 911 call earlier this week.
Police say the two people went to the property in between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on April 17th and broke into the home, stealing a Weatherby 20 gauge pump action shot gun and a .22 calibre bolt action rifle.
They also stole a black Samsung tablet, black safe, black and grey Nintendo switch, a black PlayStation3, Fitbit watch, Garmin Global Positioning System and a black Nokia camera in a blue case.
OPP continued to investigate and charged two people in connection to the incident.
21-year-old Hailey Lynn Shaw of Norfolk County has been charged with the following:
- Break and enter;
- Theft Under $5,000;
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000;
- Unauthorized possession of firearm;
- Careless use of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition;
- Breach of firearms regulation - handle firearm or restricted weapon;
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Fail to comply with release order.
48-year-old Robert Jacobus Boeder of Norfolk County was also charged with the following offences:
- Break and enter;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm;
- Careless use of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition;
- Breach of firearms regulation - handle firearm or restricted weapon
- Fail to comply with undertaking.
Both are scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
