A live webinar will be taking place and United Way Oxford will host it. The topic of the conversation will be the truth about alcohol.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way Oxford is hosting a Community United Conversation Session.
It is the first session for 2024, and Executive Director, Kelly Gilson has these details.
"The session for February 27th is called, The Truth About Alcohol - It's Sobering. We have a guest from Southwestern Public Health, as well as from Journey Well Counselling."
Gilson says they will be talking about the new guidelines on alcohol and the connections to their health.
She adds they want people to be informed and be able to make their own decisions and do what is right for them.
Gilson mentions how people can get the link for the session.
"Go to our website at unitedwayoxford.ca, and there is a link so that they can email and we will get them the information so they can watch the webinar live."
Gilson says if people cannot attend the live session, it will be recorded and posted to their website by Thursday.
This is a free event.
