It was another year of noise and school spirit as students from the County took part in the United Way Stair Climb.
OXFORD COUNTY - It was another busy United Way Stair in Oxford County.
More than 1,000 students went to the Reeves Community Complex to take part in the event, which raises money for United Way Oxford. Executive Director, Kelly Gilson, says how much was raised this year.
"The grand total for the 2025 United Way Oxford Student Stair Climb is $40,227. That's over $5,000 more than last year."
Gilson speaks to why it is important for the funds to be raised.
"It goes to support the programs and services that either United Way Oxford delivers ourselves or the investments in all our wonderful partner agencies across the county."
Gilson mentions that IDCI was the school to raise the most money again this year, giving them the coveted trophy. IDCI brought in $14,000.
