This French show coming to ITOPA unveils sneak peaks and show times.
INGERSOLL - Get ready for a night in France.
The Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts, also known as ITOPA, is getting ready for its upcoming show.
A Night in Provence is directed by Rebecca McNall and she describes what the show entails and gives us some sneak peeks.
"It's almost like the starting of a joke. We have an English couple, an Irish couple, and a French couple, and they all spend one night in this villa, of course you're in vineyards of France. There's copious amounts of wine, boring marriage, and a little friskiness, and you mix those all together and you get a hilarious show."
McNall also mentions that the show is quote, "not kid friendly."
She adds you will see six members on stage, but there's a lot going on behind the curtain.
"We have at least 15 to 20 people that are behind the scenes, painting, sound design, light design and stage managing. We have ASMS that are running around in like busy bees in behind the scenes, and the whole thing is all volunteers at ITOPA."
The performance is debuting on April 5th and they also have shows planned for April 7th, April 11th, April 12th, April 13th, and April 14th. Matinee performances start at 2:00 p.m. while evening performances start at 7:30 p.m. Shows performing on April 7th, 13th, and 14th will be matinee, and others will be evening starts.
Tickets costs $26 for adults and $24 dollars for seniors. You can purchase tickets at the box office, or on their website.
