Southwestern Public Health has released a new decision tree for school aged children with clear guidelines on what to do if your child is experiencing symptoms.
OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health has released a new decision tree for school aged children.
This decision tree will inform you on what to do if your child is experiencing any of the following scenarios:
- Your child has new symptoms of fever/chills, cough, difficulty breathing or loss of taste/smell.
- Your child has two symptoms of sore throat, stuffy/runny nose, headache, nausea/vomiting diarrhea, or muscle aches/fatigue.
- Your child has one symptom of sore throat, stuff/runny nose, headache, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, or muscle aches/fatigue.
- Your child is a close contact of someone with COVID-19 as confirmed by public health.
- Your child has travelled outside of Canada.
