Thousands of people are getting vaccinated today as the numbers more than double.
It appears the announcement of vaccine passports in Ontario is convincing more people to get the shots.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says bookings on the provincial system more than doubled yesterday after the announcement.

Starting on September 22, you will need to provide proof of vaccination to enter the following businesses in Ontario.
You will need to be fully vaccinated to enter the following businesses in Ontario.
- Restaurants and bars (excluding outdoor patios, as well as delivery and takeout);
- Nightclubs (including outdoor areas of the establishment);
- Meeting and event spaces, such as banquet halls and conference/convention centres;
- Facilities used for sports and fitness activities and personal fitness training, such as gyms, fitness and recreational facilities with the exception of youth recreational sport;
- Sporting events;
- Casinos, bingo halls and gaming establishments;
- Concerts, music festivals, theatres and cinemas;
- Strip clubs, bathhouses and sex clubs;
- Racing venues (e.g., horse racing).
The passports will not be required to go grocery shopping, retail stores, pharmacies, or anywhere that provides medical care. Exceptions will be made with medical exemptions and children under 12 who are not eligible for the vaccine.
