The Woodstock Navy Vets were eliminated from the Doherty Division playoffs after suffering a 3-1 loss to the Firebirds on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Thamesford Trojans advanced to the Yeck Division final after celebrating a 2-1 win over the Hawks yesterday.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets season has come to an end.
The Vets beat the New Hamburg Firebirds 4-3 in overtime on Friday, but they also suffered a 4-1 loss on Saturday and a 3-1 loss yesterday. New Hamburg won the PJHL semifinal series 4-3 in the end and the Firebirds will now face the Tavistock Braves in the Doherty Division final.
Meanwhile, the Thamesford Trojans advanced to the Yeck Division final over the weekend. They beat the Exeter Hawks 3-2 on Friday, 4-2 on Saturday and 2-1 yesterday. The Trojans won the series 4-3 in the end and they will now face the North Middlesex Stars in round 3.
