A few Navy Vets get recognized with PJHL Doherty Division awards
WOODSTOCK - Three of the finest athletes the Navy Vets have on the squad have won PJHL Doherty Division awards.
Kyle Walker was named as a Forward on the 2017-18 PJHL Doherty Division Annual All Star Team. Walker finished 7th in league scoring with 29 goals and 36 assists.
Dylan Wettlaufer was recognized as Player of the Month for January. Wettlaufer had 10 goals and 13 assists in 9 games including a 4-goal game against Wellesley.
With 2 goals and 14 assists in 9 games including 5 points against Wellesley, Josh Wright gets the spotlight for being named Rookie of the Month for January.
The Woodstock Navy Vets play The Norwich Merchants Friday at Southwood Arena in a best of seven match up.
