Adam Wallace takes over behind the bench for the Woodstock Navy Vets.
The former Navy Vet and Windsor Spitfire will has been named the new Head Coach of the Navy Vets. Adam will be joined by his father, Bill Wallace who has been named Assistant Coach, along with former Belleville Bulls defenceman Geoff Killing to make up the new coaching staff.
They'll have their work cut out for them, taking over a team with just 3 wins in 28 games.
The Vets have a winnable game tonight, taking on Delhi, who also has just 3-wins on the season.
Here's what the team's management is saying about the new coaching staff today:
Adam Wallace spent the majority of his professional career playing for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. Wallace was party to two straight Memorial Cup championships in 2009 and 2010. His coaching career began with the organization in 2011/12 as an assistant coach.
Geoff Killing played five seasons in the OHL for the Belleville Bulls, five years with the Western Mustangs of the CIS and represented Canada at the World University Games in 2011 where they won bronze.
Bill Wallace has coached locally for the better part of the last twenty years. His wealth of experience has manufactured two Silver Stick Championships and an OHF Title in addition to an array of additional coaching achievements.
