Summer has arrived, which means more e-bikes are hitting the streets in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Warmer weather has come to the City of Woodstock, so you might be able to spot lots of e-bikes out and about.
Constable Tyler Allard says Woodstock Police would like to make sure they keep safe on the roads.
"So obviously visibility can be a huge issue. We want all our drivers in our community and the city of Woodstock to be aware that there are going to be e-bikes and bicyclists all over the city travelling from destination to destination."
He says best way to keep yourself and those around you safe is to follow the rules of the road.
"So one of the main ingredients of staying safe is to follow the rules of the road as to the highway traffic act. If they continue to do that, then we can assure they can travel around our city in a safe manner."
Police also remind drivers to wait for a safe time to pass any e-bikers.
