The show will make its debut on Thursday December 11th.
WOODSTOCK - Imagine songs from Wicked, Grease, Guys and Dolls, and The Greatest Showman... all in one performance.
Tickets are on sale for Time After Time, A Musical Revue by the WCI RedPlayers.
Local high school students will perform 24 songs on stage. Director David DeJonge says it took some time to come up with the perfect lineup.
"The musical director Adriano Burgo and I started chatting about it and our two main collaborators Christina Cannella and Victoria Bannon all started brain storming ideas for songs and how to put them together. We wanted songs from the classics all the way up to current songs, and we just threw together a list that we thought this group of kids could really perform well."
DeJonge says it will be a top tier production.
"We've got a goal to just make this a professional experience for them and for the audience. People often come and say it feels like a show in Stratford or Toronto. It's all because of these kids, they just carry on with their hard work, effort, and they put in more time into this class than they put into any other class."
The show will hit the stage on December 10th, December 11th, December 12th and 13th at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 for adults, $20 for students, or $18 for kids under 12 and they can be purchased online here or at the door the night of.
David DeJonge stopped by the Heart FM studio with Josie Bell and Simone St. Amand on Tuesday December 2nd. You can listen to their full interview with Dan and Marcie below:
