Police are investigating weekend thefts at the Mac's on Norwich Ave, 10-Buck Pizza and Zehrs on Dundas Street and a trailer unit filled with expensive tools.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating several thefts that happened over the weekend.
On Friday night around 10:30, a man stole several items from the Mac's Milk on Norwich Avenue. He is described as being about 50 years old, with a white/grey beard and was wearing a red and black ball cap and red and blue coat. The man left the store in a red SUV.
Of course the story that generated the most attention this weekend was the theft from the 10-Buck pizza store on Dundas Street. Surveillance footage shows a man and a woman stealing the tip jar from the pizza place on Saturday morning at 1:46. Police are still searching for the suspects.
Then on Sunday, a couple of teens stole a case of pop and some other items before fleeing the Zehrs on Dundas Street. Both teens are males and were wearing dark clothing.
Then on Monday morning Police received a report about a trailer that was stolen from a hotel parking lot in the south end of the city. Someone cut the lock on the attached trailer unit and stole about $10,000 in tools that were stored inside.
There are no descriptions available to police at this time.
Woodstock Police were also busy on St. Paddy's Day conducting RIDE programs. They are very happy to report that of all the vehicle's they stopped, none of the drivers were impaired by drugs or alcohol.
