A special wellness fair will help event goers connect with personal wellness while supporting services in our community.
WOODSTOCK - A special holistic and wellness fair will help nourish the body and soul in Woodstock.
The third annual Oxford Holistic Health and Spiritual Wellness Fair will be held in Cowan Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Organizer Suze Farkas says there will be lots going all for all ability levels.
"So what we're going to have is three different yoga classes: a beginner's class from 10 - 11 a.m., and intermediate class from 11 - 12 p.m. and then a restorative from 12 - 1 p.m. We'll also have 40 vendors who will represent what health and wellness is." Farkas says there will also be an organic food truck offering a Canadian/Mexican fusion.
Admission for the event is by donation to help spread some of that wellness around.
"So whether it's money contributions, canned goods, personal items 'cause we're going to be donating to abuse services in Oxford County (DASO) as well as Save the Children International."
