ONTARIO - Southwestern Public Health is reminding everyone to get tested if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, even mild ones.
You should also get tested if you have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus as directed by public health. The other criteria to get tested includes being part of an outbreak investigation, or you are eligible as part of a targeted testing initiative.
Yesterday the Health Unit issued new recommendations for households, where one member is waiting for COVID-19 test results. They are now recommending that your entire household self-isolate with you while you wait for COVID-19 test results.
Testing is available by appointment only and located in four locations across Elgin and Oxford. For locations and more information, visit the Southwestern Public Health web site.
