Police say the area between Hunter Street and Buller Street is currently blocked as they continue to investigate.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have blocked off the area of Winniett Street after receiving a complaint earlier today.
The area between Hunter and Buller Street is closed for the time being as they continue to investigate.
Inspector Marci Shelton says more information will be provided as it becomes available.
"We have asked residents in that immediate area, between Hunter Street and Buller Street. There's a few houses that we have asked them to leave their residence for safety reasons until the investigation can be concluded."
Shelton adds they want to substantiate the complaint that they have and continue with the investigation.
Police say there is no threat to the public at this time.
