Environment Canada says we could get 5 to 10 centimetres of snow tonight with wind gusts up to 70 kilometres per hour.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's the calm before the snowstorm in Oxford County.
Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory with 5 to 10 centimetres of snow in the forecast for tonight. We could also see peak snowfall rates between 2 and 5 centimetres per hour and wind gusts up to 70 kilometres per hour.
This means the roads could become quite messy out there and the blowing snow could impact your visibility.
Environment Canada says the snow should start later this afternoon and transition to rain overnight as the temperature rises above the freezing mark.
