Oxford County Pride will be hosting a Winter Wonderland Pride Prom at the Unifor Hall in Woodstock on Saturday February 18th.
WOODSTOCK - Oxford County Pride is glamming up for prom.
The Winter Wonderland Pride Prom is an event to help everyone step out of their comfort zone and showcase what it means to be comfortable in your own body. It is open to members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies and participants are encouraged to go all out with their prom attire.
The event will include a silent auction and door prizes. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided. President Tami Murray is excited to have a full night of entertainment lined up for its guests.
"Our DJ who did our Family Day event last year, the amazing Missy KZ will be rocking our dance floor. Woodstock’s talented drag queen, Sloppy Jo, will be hosting an interactive queens and kings show featuring Galaxy Rose, Lavender Skyes, Scarlet Wonder, and King Holden Toodixk! Guests also have the chance to become royalty throughout the night with a ton of different royalty prizes available."
The Winter Wonderland Pride Prom is happening on Saturday February 18th. Tickets for the event are $20 each, or $35 for two. Tickets can be purchased in person at safe space locations at the Upper Thames Brewing Company or Early Bird Coffee or can be purchased online here.
Tami Murray stopped by the Heart FM studio yesterday morning to chat with Dan and Marcie. You can listen to the full interview below:
