A woman suffered serious but non life threatening injuries and had to be extricated from her vehicle after a crash in Norwich Township.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A 35 year old man from Woodstock has been charged with careless driving after a crash in Norwich Township.
Police say the collision happened on Friday afternoon on Oxford Road 14 near the 401 exit when a Toyota car collided with a tanker truck carrying propane fuel. The driver of the truck had to swerve to avoid a head on collision with the car. The two vehicles collided and both flipped over on their sides. A female passenger in the car had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The driver of the truck was not injured. The male driver of the car received minor injuries, and the female passenger received serious but not life threatening injuries and was transported to area hospital.
Oxford Road 14 was closed for several hours to assist with the clean up.
