Woodstock native and LA Kings' defenceman, Jake Muzzin visits the White House with teammates.
WASHINGTON - Very well spoken and very easy going.
That's how Woodstock Native and LA Kings defenceman Jake Muzzin describes U.S. President Barack Obama.
Muzzin, along with the rest of his team mates visited the White House Monday.
"To meet a guy who -- I don't know how to say it -- but his aura around him and stuff like that is kind of intimidating a little bit but he is very relaxed and a cool guy and a lot of fun."
Muzzin says it was actually the second time he had been there but it was his first time meeting the president. "The security and all of the stuff you have to go through to get in and all the Secret Service and all those guys. We got a tour through the White House and saw some of the old rooms and old paintings and stuff like that and actually got to shake his hand and he talked to us a little bit and then we went on stage."
Muzzin believes there are also plans in the works to have the team meet Prime Minister Stephen Harper sometime in the future.
