The new interim General Manager of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is settling in nicely to her new role.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce has hired a new interim General Manager on a six month contract.
Deb Masters was sought out for the position because of the work she has done in the community. Masters served on the Board of Directors with VON Sakura House and has worked with charities like DASO, Special Olympics and Embro Minor Hockey along with the women's slow pitch and fastball associations over the years. She tells Heart FM she is really excited to work for the businesses in Woodstock.
"I have a lot of connections and I can certainly advocate on behalf of a lot of the businesses in Woodstock, I also have a history of planning events in the community and am known as someone who can get things done."
Masters says she is excited for the new opportunity. She has been a lifelong volunteer and has worked hard in the community of Woodstock to help raise funds for several different organizations."
