Woodstock City Council has approved a bylaw that gives the green light to a $2 taxi fare increase starting today.
WOODSTOCK - It's now more expensive to take a taxi in the Friendly City.
City Council approved a $2 increase to all of the taxi fares on June 16th and passed the bylaw for it yesterday. This will affect all of the taxi services in Woodstock.
Zone A has the cheapest flat rate at $12 and Zone E is the most expensive with a $17 flat rate. You can find a complete list of all of the zones and their new flat rates below:
Zone A - $12 (previously $10)
Zone B - $13 (previously $11)
Zone C - $14 (previously $12)
Zone D - $16 (previously $14)
Zone E - $17 (previously $15)
