WOODSTOCK - It will be an evening of great music and storytelling, all in support of MS research.
Chris Koster, a former member of The Glorious Sons, will hit the stage at Unifor Hall in Woodstock..
Tony Dejongh is organizing this event with his wife Leslie. They met Koster about a year ago, while he was playing a show at Ironworks.
"We ended up having to secure some sound equipment for him. He found out his hotel reservation had fallen through, so he ended up spending the night at our house, slept in our basement and we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning exchanging stories about life on the road and so on. So he is going to share some of that the night of the concert as well."
He says all ages are welcome to attend the event in Woodstock on Friday, June 13th.
"It will be a really fun event! He will play some songs and he will tell a couple of stories, all cued by questions and so on. There will be questions from the audience at a certain point."
The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show itself will run from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with Embro's very own Katie Shurman as the opening act. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door the night of.
Tony Dejongh stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday May 22nd. You can listen to the full interview below:
