Jerry Acchione would like to return to City Council next term.
WOODSTOCK - City Council could be welcoming back a familiar face.
Jerry Acchione would like to represent Woodstock once more.
He says he has different things he would like to focus on next term to improve the city.
"I'm going to be concentrating a lot more on affordable housing, youth programs, we still have a dire need for youth programs here in the city. We need more industrial land as well as residential land and encouraging people to shop, live and play here in Woodstock."
The long-time resident said he is proud of the work, he and the rest of this term's city council has accomplished.
"I'm very proud of the way the council went. It's always gotten along. It hasn't agreed with everything. But we've certainly come to terms for the better of Woodstock."
Acchione moved to Woodstock at age 10 and lived here for most of his life since.
