WOODSTOCK - Police and Fire services responded to a fire on Edward street.
Woodstock Fire received a call earlier this morning about what is believed to be a kitchen fire at 521 Edward Street.
The flames broke out in the second floor apartment of the home, but the fire was quickly put out.
One female resident was taken to hospital as a precaution due to smoke inhalation. No one else was in the home at the time.
The damage estimate is believed to be around $10 000.
