Woodstock Hospital's Obstetrical team earns award.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Hospital’s Obstetrical team has earned the 2015 MORE OB Recognition Award for their outstanding performance in the application of knowledge, communication and teamwork in order to make patient safety the priority.
Director of Patient Care for Maternal Child and Women’s Health at Woodstock Hospital Leanne Paton says they joined the program in June of 2013.
Paton says "it demonstated our hospital is promoting excellence in patient care and patient safety. I am very proud of our department and how well they have done with this program."
According to their website, Salus Global’s Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently or MORE OB Program is a comprehensive performance improvement program that creates a culture of patient safety in obstetrical units.
