The parade will follow a detour due to the downtown construction.
WOODSTOCK - It's a Victoria Day tradition in the City of Woodstock.
The 77th annual Victoria Day Parade will take place at 10:00 a.m. on the holiday Monday with 50 entries including floats, bands and more.
Manager of Special Events Kristen Broadhagen says the parade will have to take a detour this year due to the construction in downtown Woodstock.
"So it will turn left on Wilson Street, which is at the Rexall Pharmacy, before turning right on Peel Street and left on Wellington Street South. Another change, because of the construction taking place in Southside Park, it will disband at Finkle Street and Henry Street."
The parade will still start at the Woodstock Fairgrounds and travel along Dundas Street before the detour.
The float judging will take place at the Rexall Pharmacy, and Broadhagen says have great prizes in store for the winners.
"We invest in gift cards purchased from downtown businesses. So we're supporting local and the float winners always appreciate that as well."
