Woodstock Little Caesars Employee Represents Canada at World Pie-Athlon Finals

Rachel Charland celebrated her 18th birthday while representing Canada at the Little Caesars International Pie-Athlon Finals in Detroit last month.

WOODSTOCK/DETRIOT - The Woodstock Little Caesars is home to the fastest pizza maker and crazy bread finisher in all of Canada.

Rachel Charland was able to compete in the Little Caesars International Pie-Athlon Finals in Detroit last month.

Store owner Marianne Shuts says finding the fastest Little Caesars employee in Canada was a two-month process.

"The owners of the stores have to time their staff. The fastest person from each store gets submitted and then they see who wins across Canada."

Charland has been working at the Dundas Street location for two years now and she celebrated her 18th birthday while competing in the global tournament. Shuts says it was an experience that Charland will never forget.

"She was just in awe of the head office and just everything at head office. It's a brand new building across the Tigers Stadium and just being with all of these people from around the world was pretty incredible for her."

Charland didn't return home with the championship, but she came back with amazing stories to share with her friends and family.
