The driver has been charged with multiple offences, including driving while impaired.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police, Woodstock Fire Department and EMS responded to a collision in Woodstock.
Officers arrived just before midnight on January 25th to find a Pontiac Grand Am had hit a Dodge Pickup that was parked at the side of the road on James Street.
The driver of the Grand Am fled the scene of the collision on foot. The driver was later found and arrested.
The 19-year-old Woodstock man was injured and transported to the Woodstock General Hospital by Oxford EMS. He was released from hospital with minor injuries.
He was charged with the following offences:
Operating a motor vehicle while Impaired Sec 320.14 (1)(a) CCC
Operating a motor vehicle while impaired .80 plus Sec 320.14 (1)(b) CCC
Failure to stop after accident 320.16(1) CCC
Failure to comply OIC Undertaking 145 (5.1) CCC
