A 32 year old man from Woodstock has been charged with Fail to Yield for an Emergency Vehicle after slamming into a police cruiser with activated lights and sirens on Saturday morning.
WOODSTOCK - A 32 year old man from Woodstock has been charged after slamming into a police cruiser with activated lights and sirens on Saturday morning.
The Woodstock Police officer was responding to a call around 10:10 am on Saturday. They stopped at the red light at the intersection of Hughson and Huron. When it was safe to do so, the officer preceded through the intersection. That's when a southbound driver through the intersection colliding with the police cruiser that was a majority of the way through the intersection.
The 32 year old was charged with Fail to Yield for Emergency Vehicle.
Nobody was injured in the crash and it caused about $12,000 in damage to both vehicles.
