St.Mary's Catholic High School alumnus Emily O'Quinn is in the running for the L'Oreal Paris Brush Contest.
WOODSTOCK - A make-up artist from Woodstock wants your votes to help her advance in the L'Oreal Brush contest. St. Mary's Catholic school graduate Emily O'Quinn says she began taking art classes at an early age in the Friendly City. O'Quinn grew up in Woodstock and moved to Toronto pursue her dream of becoming a make-up artist. She is currently in the top 5 entries for the L'Oreal contest Brush contest, only the top 5 entries will advance after today's voting. O'Quinn's make-up video was narrowed down from 10,000 entries. The top 5 entries will compete for a chance to go to Paris for the L'Oreal Brush contest finals. The L'Oreal Brush contest winner will win a make-up contract with L'Oreal.
O'Quinn says she is nervously watching the voting today as the countdown begins and she is hoping for more votes to secure a comfortable lead in the top 5. For the contest each contestant had to create their interpretation of a colour clash.
