WOODSTOCK/TILLSONBURG - It's time to fill more police cruisers in Woodstock and Tillsonburg.
The 14th Annual Woodstock Police Service Fill-A-Cruiser Holiday Food Drive event will be held at the Sobeys on Springbank Avenue tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Donations will be going to the Woodstock Salvation Army.
Police will be accepting non-perishable food items or pre-made bags of food that can be purchased for $10. Last year, seven cruisers were filled with food. Cash donations can be directed to the Salvation Army.
The Woodstock Police Service and the Auxiliary Unit say that they appreciate the community’s generosity to support their community and those in need.
Meanwhile, the Oxford OPP Auxiliary Unit will be holding its own Cram the Cruiser event at Sobeys and Metro in Tillsonburg tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All donations will go to the Helping Hand Food Bank.
