Charges have been laid in two impaired driving related incidents in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have charged two people with drug related offences.
This comes after officers found two people passed out in a vehicle that was running in on Oxford Road 4, close to Oxford Road 17, last Friday morning. It was parked on the shoulder of the road at the time and police arrested the driver and the passenger after they found $4,800 worth of suspected fentanyl.
The driver was a 35-year-old from Waterloo and they're facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The passenger was a 33-year-old from Kitchener and they were also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking along with failure to comply with probation.

WOODSTOCK - A Woodstonian has been busted for impaired driving in their hometown.
Woodstock Police officers responded to reports of an erratic driver on Devonshire Ave shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The vehicle hit a street sweeper and it also ran a red light.
Officers were able to track down the vehicle and arrested the driver.
The 25-year-old has since been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and resisting a peace officer.
