Woodstock Police arrested and charged two people in two separate incidents on Tuesday, after they both tried to run away from officers on foot.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police recovered a stolen vehicle after responding to a break and enter on Tuesday at around 3:00 a.m. in the area of Norwich Ave and Houndsfield Street.
Police located the vehicle on James Street after it had hit the pole. The driver took off on foot and police caught them a short while late on Dundas.
A 31 year old woman from Woodstock has been charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000, careless driving and fail to remain.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police arrested a 34 year old man on Tuesday night in the area of Substation Road and Cedar Line.
Police tried to pull over a vehicle around 10:50 p.m, when a man left the car and tried to get away on foot. Police say they arrested him with four knives and fentanyl.
The 34 year old was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
