Woodstock Police Briefs - Wednesday February 16th

Woodstock Police briefs include a stolen 2020 Range Rover, a shoplifting incident in the Montclair Drive area and a break and enter investigation at the Woodstock Fairgrounds.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating a break and enter at the Woodstock Fairgrounds.

Someone broke into the property through the front door and made a mess of the building sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

WOODSTOCK - A 39 year old man has been charged with mischief after throwing cans through the window of a business on Dundas Street near Reeve Street. 

Police were called on Monday around 5:20 p.m. about the incident. They found the man yelling in the street near Finkle Street and Peel Street. He was arrested and taken to the hospital for an assessment. 

Police did charge the man with mischief under $5,000.

WOODSTOCK - Three people were arrested for shoplifting on Monday in Woodstock.

Police say they caught two men and a woman stealing from a store on Juliana Drive and Montclair Drive. 

All three are from Brantford and they include a 31 year old man, a 67 year old man and a 34 year old woman. They were charged with theft under $5,000 and obstruct a peace officer.

WOODSTOCK - A 2020 Range Rover has been stolen from a car dealership on Dundas Street East.

Police say a man showed up to the dealership on Monday evening in a dark coloured Mercedes and he asked to look at a black 2020 Range Rover. The man took off in the Range Rover and then moments later another person fled in the Mercedes. 

The GPS in the vehicle was last located in the area of the Drumbo Truck Stop off the 401 Highway.

The male suspect was described as East Indian wearing blue jeans, a dark coat, a toque and face mask.
