Police briefs include a number of hit and runs in the Friendly City, vehicle entries, Mischief at Pittock Conservation, B&E on Water Street, Stolen whiskey bottle and an e-bike was stolen from a driveway.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating after a number of items were stolen from a home on Water Street.
Police say the home was broken into sometime between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. Force was used to get inside and a number of household items were taken.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police were able to arrest two people on mischief charges at the Pittock Conservation Area.
A good Samaritan called police after he noticed the people damaging three sheds at the Park on Friday evening. The caller reported that they could see the suspects across the lake by using binoculars and they appeared to be trying door handles of the trailers.
Police immediately responded to the area and located two people inside a shed. They were arrested and later charged with three counts of Mischief to Property.

WOODSTOCK - A 27 year old from Woodstock has been arrested after stealing a bottle of whiskey over the weekend.
Police say the man stole the bottle from the liquor store on Saturday night right before closing time. He tried to conceal the bottle in his coat and took off on foot when confronted. Police tracked him down a short while later running in the neighbourhood.
The man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.

WOODSTOCK - An Emmo e-bike has been stolen from a driveway in Woodstock.
The e-bike was taken overnight between Saturday and Sunday. It is described as being an orange and white Daymak Emmo
E-bike with a blue milk crate tied to the back.

WOODSTOCK - Police are once again preaching lock it or lose it after a number of vehicle entries over the weekend.
The thefts happened on Admiral Street and Winniett street. Stolen was a wallet and one of the cars was ransacked, however nothing was taken.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police responded to three crashes over the weekend.
On Sunday officers responded to a hit and run in the Zehrs parking lot on Dundas Street. A blue and black pickup truck backed into a van and then left the area just before noon.
Another hit and run in the Friendly City on Sunday, this time in the area of Springbank Avenue and Lansdowne. Police are looking for a grey SUV in that case.
Then later that evening around 7, police responded to another hit and run, this time at the Tim Horton's parking lot in the west end of the city. Investigation revealed that an unknown red Honda vehicle struck a vehicle and then drove away.
