Briefs include a couple of break-ins that occurred at two separate homes on the south end of the city and a house fire that happened at a home on Southwood Way.
WOODSTOCK - Police are investigating two break-ins that occurred on the south end of the city that happened in the day time over the past couple of days.
The suspects went into a home on Blackfoot Place on Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, meanwhile unknown suspects entered the home through a locked window in the basement located on Lindsay Road the following day. Police say the break-in was between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Electronics and jewellery were stolen in both incidents, however police say they have no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

WOODSTOCK - Members of the Woodstock Police and Woodstock Fire Department responded to a fire at a home on Southwood Way.
The incident happened on early Friday morning when the owners were sleeping and alerted by their smoke detector and immediately called 911.
Police say the fire happened inside of their garage, however the family was able to stay inside their home.
The nature of the fire is not being deemed suspicious and the estimated damages are unknown at this time.
