WOODSTOCK - A couple of windows were smashed over the weekend in Woodstock.

Police responded to two complaints in the area of Dundas and McKenzie and on Dufferin Street. In both cases the vehicle windows were smashed and a number of items were taken including sunglasses, tools and CDs.

Woodstock Police are asking the community to protect your property by not leaving anything in your vehicles, especially in plain view.

WOODSTOCK - A 46 year old man from Woodstock has been charged with impaired driving after smashing into a parked car at the corner of Brant and Wellington.

Officers responded to the collision just after midnight on Saturday. The mam driver provided a breath sample that determined the driver’s blood alcohol concentration was at more than double the legal limit.

---

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock police say a 34 year old man was double the legal limit when they pulled him over early Saturday morning.

Officers first spotted the man around 12:10 am early Saturday morning at a red stop light. When the light turned green, the man took off at a high rate of speed and swerved within the centre lane.

Woodstock Police would like to remind the public to never get behind the wheel impaired or get in a vehicle with an impaired driver. Please find an alternate way home, such as calling a friend, cab or rideshare to keep our roads safe.
