The OLG has issued a third-quarter payment of $369,638 to the City of Woodstock for hosting Gateway Casinos.
WOODSTOCK - The Friendly City will be getting a cheque for $369,638 from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for hosting Gateway Casinos.
It's a third-quarter payment based on the casino's revenue from the beginning of October to the end of December. Woodstock has received $1,176,006 worth of gaming revenue from the OLG so far this fiscal year.
The City has received $24,884,739 worth of gaming revenue ever since the casino first opened in 2004 and it sets the money aside for the Community Grants Program.
Eleven local non-profits were able to receive funding from the City during the 2022 fall intake of the Community Grants program. Those wishing to apply for the upcoming spring intake have until March 1st at 4:30 p.m. to apply.
