Brad Kovachik can add another game to his list of highlights in his NHL career. Kovachik will be one of the linesmen at the All-Star game in Ottawa this afternoon. The Woodstock native has been a part of the NHL's Officials Association since the mid-90's, "this is my 16th year. I did my first year is what they call a 40/40 - kind of a training year where we do half of american league hockey games and half of NHL games, so this is my 15th full time year". On February 14th, Kovachik will ref his 1000th game in Tampa Bay. Today's game in the nation's capital will be Kovachik's first time officiating an All Star game in the NHL.
