All food bank and community ministries services to the Salvation Army Church on Juliana Drive next month.
WOODSTOCK - Another big change is coming to the Woodstock Salvation Army.
Following a strategic operational overview, the Salvation Army will be closing its Huron Street location at the end of the month. It will relocate all food bank and community ministries services to the Salvation Army Church on Juliana Drive.
According to a post on the organization's Facebook page, there will be a short pause in operations from September 2nd to September 14th while the transition takes place. It's encouraging those who use the Salvation Army's services to reach out in advance, to make sure they have everything they need during that time.
The Salvation Army food bank has been located on Huron Street for years. There used to be a thrift store at that location as well, but it closed in July 2022.
