Canada’s annual Outdoor Farm Show takes place Sept 12-14, 2023.
WOODSTOCK - Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show is returning to the Friendly City for its 30th year!
This year organizers are looking to focus on equipment and exhibitor demonstrations, as well as crop plots and livestock displays to highlight hands-on experiences and new technology in agriculture.
Carla Vipond, executive vice-president of Discovery Farm and spokesperson for Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show says the event is unique because being outside gives farmers the opportunity to learn how to operate new heavy-weight equipment.
"We hear over and over that decisions are made in the dirt, and farmers are hands-on people. At our show, you can spend a day watching seeding in action, look at dozens of crop plots side-by-side, and talk to a multitude of exhibitors with the latest full-sized equipment options and products at the show. That is incredibly valuable to stay on top of new ideas and advancements that are changing the face of agriculture."
A G Tech Breakfast and Innovations Program will also be hosting a special networking breakfast for local farmers to connect with distributors.
Discovery Farms will be hosting the event, with their 330-arce site featuring over 700 Agriculture and Agri-Food companies.
