Woodstock's local parks and sports fields will be opening on Wednesday May 1st.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstonians have to hold off just a little bit longer if they want to enjoy the local parks and sports fields.
They don't officially open until Wednesday May 1st because the city relies on seasonal staff members to maintain them.
We have sunshine in the forecast for today and tomorrow. It's also going to be warm this weekend, but there is a chance of rain as well.
The turf and clay surfaces can become soft and easily damaged if it's wet outside.
